The Supreme Court ruled this morning that an inmate on Alabama's death row can pursue his claim that deliberate death by lethal injection is cruel and unusual punishment. And miraculously, the vote was unanimous.
Praise God. Sanctity of life does matter to the court.
This could be the start....both of recognition of other sanctity of life issues by the highest court in our country, and of recognition by so-called right-to-lifers that the sanctity of life is for all mankind, not just adorable babies. Perhaps the scales will start to fall from both groups' eyes.
Prayers to God for that.
